Outdoor Learning
We have the most amazing outdoor environment where children can explore and we even go on adventures further a field and use the orchard and outdoor spaces that surround Kea School.
Where learning is fun in the great outdoors!
Forest School supports, encourages and inspires children’s learning, allowing them to learn at their own pace through curiosity in the world around them.
We are so pleased to be introducing Forest School sessions at Kea Preschool and we use our outdoor classroom during sessions and even go further afield to the Orchard and fields that is within Kea School grounds.
We have a wonderful space that promotes cooperation, communication, respect for others and of the environment. Rain or shine, the children enjoy these sessions and have the opportunity to learn and develop new skills.
Our outdoor classroom is situated in the grounds of our preschool. The outdoor classroom is open every morning for children to access and through child led and adult led activities children will develop a love for learning in the great outdoors. Children become creative and curious whilst exploring through play and are able to share their ideas and feelings.
