Kea Pre-School

Our preschool runs during term time, but we also offer holiday care and before and after school care for our preschool children.

We provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment that promotes learning through play, using a wide range of resources, and the opportunity for children to develop their social skills as they play and learn alongside and with other children.

When your child starts Preschool it is an important time for both child and parents. We do a minimum of 2 settling sessions for children, but offer more if needed

Early Education

We strongly believe children learn best when they are happy, settled and having fun. During their time with us we want our children to be (or become) social, make friends, have self confidence, be able to manage their feelings and behaviour, be able to listen and understand, be confident in speaking to others, develop their fine and large motor skills and have an understanding of their own health and self-care. We plan ‘in the moment’, allowing us to spend more time with the children and less time producing unnecessary paperwork. For further information about this, see our separate page ‘Early Education’.

Fees and Funding

Fees

As we are a charity, all of our funds go back in to the running of our preschool. Any profit we do make goes straight back in to upgrading facilities and buying new toys, resources and experiences for our children. We always strive to keep our fees as low as possible whilst providing excellent
quality childcare and education.
